ECCO Super Sale

Clean out those closets - the ECCO Super Sale is back on!

The 47th Annual Super Sale is sponsored by the ECCO Board. ECCO residents are invited to have a garage or yard sale on the same day. We widely publicize this event so don't miss out on the chance to cash in on cleaning out!
 
To participate in this event, complete the registration form.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 29 (9:00 p.m.).

This will be the last year that Sylvia Kafkas will organize this event. A volunteer will need to step forward for the Super Sale to continue into the future. Interested volunteers could partner with Sylvia this year to learn the ropes!

Earth Day Clean Up

Join your ECCO neighbors in this annual Minneapolis city-wide spring clean up.

Volunteers needed and appreciated. Coffee and snacks will be offered to volunteers.   

Hibernation is finally over, let's beautify our parks/neighborhood for the upcoming summer.

Stop by and help as you can!  

No pre-registration required but it helps with planning if you do register. Optional registration here.
 
Bring your own work gloves. Trash bags and directions will be provided.

Personal Safety & Robbery Prevention Workshop

Note: This event will be held in the Lecture Room on the southernmost end of the building; enter through the door near the flagpole.

Come out to this FREE workshop for adults of all ages. Self defense expert Mary Brandl will demonstrate what you need to know to reduce your vulnerability to robbery and assault.

Learn to recognize a potential attacker in the making, as well as the roles body language, eye contact, tone of voice, and assertiveness can play in averting potential trouble.

Holiday Caroling Party

Kick off the holiday season by spreading good cheer!  

Gather at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church, 3450 Irving Ave S, at 6:30 p.m. (meet in the Meeting Room #2). We'll bundle up and sing our way through the streets of East Calhoun from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. End the evening with snacks and social time at a neighborhood home.

Bring the whole family. Invite your friends and neighbors.
