Donations to the East Bde Maka Ska Neighborhood Association help make our dynamic community better connected, empowered, and fun! In 2023, our activities included:
Monthly neighborhood socials at area businesses, including our Ice Cream Social and Trolley Social
Special annual events like the Holiday Caroling Party, Sail Bde Maka, Earth Day Cleanup, Trolley Path Mulching, Annual Meeting, and a Neighborhood Super Sale
Supporting local businesses through events and promotions
Home security and garden rebates
Public forums to engage with your elected officials and local Precinct
Neighborhood walks to connect neighbors, put eyes on the street, and pickup trash
Informative content through newsletters, social media, and guest speakers
Dozens of opportunities for anyone to contribute to the community, meet your neighbors, and learn from one another.
In the past, city funds alone were enough to support our mission. Now, certain city funds are running out. Financial support of any amount from neighbors in a position to give will enable us to maintain and do more for the community.
The East Bde Maka Ska Neighborhood Association is a 501c4 non-profit registered with the state of Minnesota that takes financial stewardship seriously to get the most out of every dollar.
