Home Security grants
East Bde Maka Ska will reimburse residential property owners (owner-occupied or rented) up to $250 for security upgrades. For multi-unit residential properties with four or more units, the maximum subsidy is $1,000. One subsidy per residential property. Subsidies are offered on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available (monthly service fees for security systems are not eligible). View program guidelines and online application.
garden grants
East Bde Maka Ska will reimburse homeowners up to $100 for the purchase of plant materials for a rain garden, a rain barrel and/or a compost bin. Download the application.
Organics Recycling
