The Safety Committee attend to issues involving crime and community safety in East Bde Maka Ska. All are welcome! To get involved, contact Chair Glenda Marsh.

The Safety Committee meets 2nd Mondays monthly, unless otherwise noted.

Neighborhood Walks

Walk the neighborhood as a community! The goal of these walks is to build bonds and send a strong signal that this community is working together to keep itself taken care of and safe. We also be clean up litter as we walk. Any volunteers will receive a free Community Safety Shirt and knit cap.

Home Security rebates

East Bde Maka Ska Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) funds will reimburse residential property owners (owner-occupied or rented) up to $250 for security upgrades. For multi-unit residential properties with four or more units, the maximum subsidy is $1,000.
